Garden Tours, Walks, Lectures and Tearoom

Garden Tours and Walks include refreshments as stated at the time of booking.

The full amount of the Garden Tour, Walk, Lecture or Friday Tearoom fee is payable in advance to secure a place on the Tour, Walk, Lecture or in the Friday Tearoom.

Walks, Lectures and Tours are aimed at an adult audience, unless advertised as a children's or family event.

Should you need to cancel your place on a Garden Tour, Walk, Lecture or in the Friday Tearoom please contact education@walthamplace.com

Cancellation charges are as follows:

Cancellation within 14+ days of Garden Tour / Walk  / Friday Tearoom date = 50% of fee payable unless place is re-filled.
Cancellation within 0-13 days of Garden Tour / Walk / Friday Tearoom date  = 100% of fee payable unless place is re-filled.

When events are over-subscribed we will hold a waiting list and may be able to re-fill a place but this is not guaranteed. If you are unable to attend, you are welcome to send someone in your place. Please notify education@walthamplace.com of your replacement's name, phone number and email address as soon as possible before the Garden Tour / Walk / Lecture / Friday Tearoom date.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a Garden Tour, Walk, Lecture or Friday Tearoom date then an alternative date or voucher will be offered, or a full refund will be paid. We will attempt to give as much notice as possible. Please note however that we cannot be held liable for wasted travel or other 3rd party costs such as travel bookings or accommodation.

Courses, Workshops and Specialist Speaker Events

Courses, Workshops and Specialist Speaker Events include refreshments as stated at the time of booking.

The full amount of the Course, Workshop or Specialist Speaker Event fee is payable in advance to secure a place on the event.

Should you need to cancel your place on a Course, Workshop or Specialist Speaker Event for any reason please contact education@walthamplace.com

Cancellation charges are as follows:

Cancellation within 21+ days of a Course, Workshop or Specialist Speaker Event date= 50% of fee payable unless the place is re-filled.
Cancellation within 0-20 days of a Course, Workshop or Specialist Speaker Event date = 100% of fee payable unless the place is re-filled.

There are a maximum number of places on all Courses, Workshops or Specialist Speaker Events. A Course, Workshop or Specialist Speaker Event also needs to have a minimum number of attendees booked to make it viable. If Waltham Place have to cancel a Course, Workshop or Specialist Speaker Event, then an alternative course / event or voucher will be offered, or a full refund will be paid. Unless otherwise stated Courses, Workshops or Specialist Speaker Events are not suitable for children (under 12) and can only be attended by people under the age of 16 if accompanied by an adult.

Private Bookings for External Events:

The above Terms and Conditions apply to private bookings for off-site delivery of events.
