Moth Night is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about these fascinating pollinators. Visit the estate after dark to take part in our yearly moth survey. Waltham Place currently has over 600 species of moth recorded so let’s see if we can add to that total. Local moth experts will be on hand to answer questions and identify the different species.
This event is suitable for children aged 8 and over.

This event is based on the woodland edge and in the orchards with some uneven ground.
Please wear sturdy footwear with closed toes. We recommend you bring a base ball cap or rectangle of cardboard to shield eyes from the light of the traps.
