We are as dependent on the moon as we are on the sun for life on Earth. The sun governs the seasons, warmth, and light, while the moon influences water, sap flow, fertility, and cycles of growth. For centuries, people have observed how lunar phases affect plants, animals, and even human behaviour.

In this workshop, André Tranquilini and Harry Astley introduce the biodynamic approach to lunar and cosmic rhythms. Biodynamics draws on this ancestral wisdom, recognising not only the forces of the sun and moon but also the subtle influences of the planets and stars. By working with these cosmic cycles throughout the growing season, biodynamic gardening seeks to bring balance and vitality to the garden as a living organism.

Through practical demonstrations and shared insights, you will learn how to sow, plant, and harvest in harmony with lunar rhythms, cultivating a deeper connection with natural cycles.
