The Kitchen Garden at Waltham Place Farm sits at the heart of a 220 acre biodynamic and organic farm; An oasis of seasonal produce, grown using biodynamic methods as nature intended. As biodynamic farmers we believe that the health of our plants starts in the soil, so we feed our soils with home produced manures, composts, mulches and biodynamic preparations. This detailed level of care results in fruit and vegetables that are nutrient dense and packed with flavour. Each week our customers receive a box of vegetables, and fruit, when in season. No two weeks will be the same as the box reflects what is growing and ripening in each week of the year. We offer only crops we have grown ourselves, knowing that local, seasonal, biodynamic produce is laden with the vitamins and minerals that our bodies need at that time of the year. Vegetable Boxes are available for collection on a Friday, from 10 - 4 pm, from the Farm Shop.
We offer two box sizes:
£12 Box (Serves 1-2 people) Contains 5 or 6 varieties of vegetable and fruit.
£17 Box (Serves 3-4 people) Contains 8 or more varieties of vegetable and fruit.
As produce is harvested freshly to order the cutoff for orders is 4 pm on a Thursday for collection the next day.
Box numbers are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
We now have a second Collection Point for Vegetable Boxes at Filling Good, Eco Action Hub, Nicholson Centre, Maidenhead, with collection on a Friday from 11 am - 5 pm.
