Rose Ann Movsovic of Berks and South Bucks Bat Group joins us for an evening bat walk and talk to learn more about these nocturnal creatures. Following the talk we will venture into the fields and woods at twilight, using bat detectors to locate and identify the different species flying overhead. Over seven species of bat have been identified here at Waltham Place since 2013. Please dress warmly as temperatures can dip after dark. This walk covers uneven terrain and is unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Please note: As this walk goes deep into the woodland we ask everyone to stay with the group until the end.
