Spinning and Needle Felting

£ 20

Per person

Wednesday 31st May 2023

10.30 am

Don’t forget to add your menu choices.

All fresh vegetables and fruits are harvested to order, enhancing the quality of our food and minimising waste. Please confirm your menu choice for each person in your party in the 'Tearoom Menu Choice' box provided during checkout.

Join members of Berkshire Guild of Spinners, Weavers and Dyers as they demonstrate how to spin wool using the spinning wheel and drop spindle. The drop spindle is a wonderful introduction to spinning for children, whilst at least one of the spinning wheels will be available for adults to try under tuition. We will also be offering an introduction to needle felting; exercise your creativity as you make a small 3D animal with just fleece and a felting needle. This is a family friendly event suitable for children aged 7+ with parental supervision. No experience needed. Non-participating adults who are accompanying children  do not require a ticket.

We want you to have enough time to try both spinning and needle felting. The event will end at 2.30 pm

All proceeds to BGSWD.

A lunch of soup and bread, plus refreshments, biscuits and cakes will be available to purchase on the day.
